Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My classroom is not defined by the four walls that surround us. Our learning goes well beyond those walls. We are inventors, researchers, creators, collaborators, philanthropists, technophiles, and scholars. My students are always reaching for more ways to learn.
My business and technology classes have students from various grade levels, socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, and academic capabilities.
These students come together in such an amazing way to create real results. They support each other unconditionally and really have a desire to change the world around them.
My Project
My Entrepreneurship students routinely complete projects where they run small businesses in class to turn a profit. I'd like to push this one step forward and take advantage our 3D printer more! I would like my students to actually design and create the products that they sell this time around. We'll start off small by creating keychains, and see where the project takes us!
The materials in this project will help us get started with the creation, design, and packaging of 3D printed items.
Students will be responsible for all facets of the process. They will gain experience in working with customers, the 3D modeling software, production, marketing, and sales. The intent would be to continue the longstanding tradition of donating their proceeds to a local charity.
