My Students

My Esports players come from a variety of backgrounds and many come from low socioeconomic households.

Esports is a fairly new program for our school and we are hoping to appeal to a different population of students that don't typically fit the mold of traditional sports teams.

Some of these students have never played these types of games other than in the after-school programs that we offer. I’m excited to see what skills they may bring to this new season.

My Project

The two gaming monitors will be used to help students focus on playing smash independently. The students can also bring their own gaming consoles in and hook up to these monitors. This will allow for even more practice time. The L-shaped desk will benefit our streaming manager by giving him more space to work each day, and the cabinet will allow us to secure our costly equipment used in all aspects of Esports.

These materials will be used on a daily basis to improve every aspect of our Esports program!
