This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am always trying to find new and interesting ways to convey information to my students. Although I try to be as engaging as I can be in class, listening to your teacher isn't always entertaining.

Moby the Robot and his friend Tim, connect to my students in a way that make a variety of subjects much more clear to all of my students through videos, quizzes and a variety of reviews!

I want to use as many ways as I possible can to engage my students and BrainPop is integral to that learning. BrainPop is a subscription program that has engaging videos, music, deeper reading materials, and activities on a range of topics ranging from emotional learning to comprehension to literacy, math, social studies, and science. The videos help reinforce lessons that we have covered and keeps kids engaged regularly!

Moby and Tim always excite the students, no matter the subject matter. The videos capture their attention and sometimes conveys information in a way that children can really grasp and reinforce the learning they already have.

Our classroom is incredibly diverse. They come from Senegal, Haiti, Mexico and from various countries in South America. No matter their home language, Tim and Moby welcome everyone. I would love to bring this resource to all of my students.
