This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The equipment that I am requesting for my students plus 6 other classes already has a "home" in our primary recess caddy. In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting the equipment on our playground to start the 2024-25 school year.

The students will have many choices of activities between the various balls, jump ropes, hula hoops, and the ankle skippers.

They will be able to have choice play and get some needed energy out to refocus on learning when the recess bell rings. My 3rd grade students and 6 other classrooms of 1st-3rd graders love to have a choice in their activity when independent time is offered. I enjoy seeing them come back happy and ready to get back to learning.
