This is my third year teaching 5th grade reading, language arts, social studies, science, and math in a low income community. As a teacher I have realized that my students need a variety of learning products. Because our school is a public school in a low income neighborhood we are limited to science resources. Although I am a teacher in a low income school I am able to provide my students with the same resources that a moderate to high income school may have. The reason being because I am able to write proposals to obtain resources needed to improve academic performance. Additional learning tools and materials allow my students the opportunity to ensure a successful education. I am in need of additional resources to teach to all learning styles in my classroom. My class needs a variety of learning tools to help keep them involved and interested in learning since we lack enrichment resources and materials. The Mastering Math Games Library along with the Math Bingo Set will help motivate my students to learn in a fun and creative way. The Mastering Math Games Library along with the Math Bingo Set helps students master essential math skills by challenging them to improve and build math skills. Each game in the pack provides exciting, hands- on practice with a specific math skill. These games provide a fun and exciting alternative to learning important skills necessary to be a successful student. Lack of funding in education does not give students enough materials to have a well-rounded education. I want my students to have the Mastering Math Games Library along with the Math Bingo Set because they need a variety of learning tools to help keep them involved and interested in learning since we lack enrichment resources and materials. This item will help improve the students learning experience.
