Help me give my students engaging books in Spanish. Our classroom is a Dual Language classroom in Spanish and English and we need more books in Spanish.

My Project

I am requesting books in Spanish, including Captain Underpants and I Survived (graphic novels) and non-fiction books about Messi and Ronaldo--two soccer players that my students love having spirited discussions about who is the best. I've also requested some easy readers in Spanish for my 4th grade readers who are more dominant in English, I hope that this will encourage them to read more in their second language. My bilingual and new-to-country students love to read the books in Spanish that we already have... we just need more.

We read every day.

Staying excited about reading takes books! As the classroom teacher, I want to provide students access to books that are diverse and engaging. My students will love to read these high-interest books in Spanish.

A great library is essential for a classroom. A great library includes diverse books. Great books matter. Thank you for considering our project.
