My Students

My students and I spent this year in distance learning. Even though distance learning has been a struggle for my students in different ways, we have created amazing routines, art projects and science experiments. At the end of February, many of my students and I will be returning to in-school learning. It will be challenging and wonderful at the same time. I am requesting these supplies to get my classroom ready for our upcoming circumstances.

We are living through history.

My students are incredible people. They come with tenacity, creativity, and a wide variety of experiences and gifts. We work hard every day as scholars, artists, critical thinkers, and friends.

My Project

I am requesting new, engaging graphic novels to build our classroom library including books like "Dragon Path", "Unicorn Famous" and "Girl Haven."My students love getting lost in a book.

My students need a vibrant, modern and engaging classroom library.

We are on our way to becoming great readers and your support is crucial to that goal. The more than 20 graphic novels in this project are going to have such a big impact on my students; titles like "Wolf Walkers" and "Chef Yasmina and the Potato Panic" will whet their appetites for these great books.

Books transport us to new worlds and give us new dreams to chase. "A book is a dream you hold in your hand," Neil Gaiman. My students are absolutely in love with books, and we need to keep building our classroom library. These books will be a perfect addition. Thank you for considering our project!
