Our students are PreK-5th grade and love reading! They come to the library excited to check out books. A lot of our students do not have access to books outside of school and would benefit from updating our library with new exciting books as well as flexible seating, rugs and lights to create calm reading areas.
I want to create a space for the kids to feel calm, comfortable and supported when they come in for their library time.
The students have had input on what they want to see in the library and it is more books and reading nooks!
All of these books have been chosen with the students in mind and the type of books they would enjoy reading. Growing the library collection will help students become excited about reading.
