Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarten class, consists of approximately 25 students from low-income families. My students are creative and eager to learn. They will become accustomed to keeping materials in an orderly and organized fashion. The use of the seat sacks will assist parents and students in being organized, with supplies and knowing when they need to be replaced. They are excited to come into a new learning environment for the first time and the seat sacks will allow them to do so safely.

My Project

These chair back pocket charts will allow my students to have a safer and more organized classroom space. Our classroom has limited availability for storage. With 25 students in group seating, the chair back pocket charts will also allow me to move more freely around the classroom without the possibility of injury.

The students will be able to neatly organize all of their required classroom supplies, with easy accessibility.

The chair back pocket charts have pockets designed to hold crayons, binders, pencils and other supplies. It will sit neatly on the back of each students chair. This will allow the students to work without clutter.
