My Project

Artistic expression is a powerful tools for teens grappling with mental health challenges. Engaging in artistic pursuits can provide a calming outlet for stress and anxiety, allowing teens to express complex emotions through visual means. Coloring, in particular, has been shown to reduce stress and promote mindfulness, offering a meditative break from daily pressures. Mental health books tailored for teens can provide valuable insights, coping strategies, and the reassurance that they're not alone in their struggles. Vision boards serve as tangible representations of goals and aspirations, fostering hope and motivation during difficult times.

These art supplies and books will allow my students to add to their personalized toolkit for emotional regulation and self-discovery.

These supplies will assist my students in maintaining emotional well-being, encouraging self-reflection, and building resilience in the face of future challenges.
