Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In September my students will embark on a whole new experience at school. I want to make it as fun and as safe as possible. My new kindergarten students will be eager to learn in our new normal. My students are in a TITLE I high-needs area with 100% free lunch and breakfast. Many students are ELLs.

My Project

This school year will be like no other. For this reason, I want to prepare my students with everything they will need. I want each child to wear a break away lanyard so they have a place to clip their masks as well as a name tag to wear. I also want each child to have their own supplies so that we are maintaining safety protocol. I am asking for Dry Erase markers and erasers for each student. This is a product that I use all throughout the day for reading, writing and math.
