My students have a thirst for knowledge and smiles that light up any room, and they celebrate each new skill. My students also have a wide range of identified needs such as learning delays, developmental delays, autism, and physical impairments. Additionally, many of my students are facing issues such as homelessness, poverty, and other traumatic issues.

My Project
This project has everything and then some to help my students thrive! Let's go over some of the things included.
Dry erase markers and boards are so essential, they are a quick way to engage kids and check for understanding.
Along with this comes magnetic boards for building words in early literacy skills. This project includes loads of lamination pockets for everything from visual schedules to math charts that I make for my students.
Soon the students will be taking their state exams and the comfortable headphones will help them focus on doing their best. The teacher cart will work to provide a space to organize materials for small groups. The two tier shoe rack will help to organize donations for our Bobcat Closet, a space where kids in needs get their essential needs met.
For my emergent readers there are a variety of early language tools including sight word cubes, early literacy sorts, and beginning sight words readers, along with bins to organize them all.
Some calm stickers, erasers, stampers, and scented stickers round out this big project and help reduce tension, check off a job well done, and reward kids in a fun way!
