My Students

Our class is a lower elementary Montessori Classroom. My students are 1st-3rd graders that come from many different backgrounds. They are an energetic, creative and artistic group and I am inspired by their love of learning! We are seeking new rugs for our classroom.

My Project

In our Montessori classroom, a lot of our learning takes place on the ground. Our students love to get their mats out and get comfortable and settle in for some learning. The floor is also a great place for them when they are doing collaborative projects.

My students are more likely to be productive when they are comfortable.

Comfort is one of the six key elements that has been identified as critical for a modern learning space that supports 21st-century learning. With everyone back to in-person learning (yay!), we need more space for our curious kids to spread out. We need a new classroom rug!
