Everyone Can Play a Sport!

Help me give my students a new sports experience. We are hoping to teach kids new sports and we need some items like a basketball hoop, volleyball net and baseball bats to make that happen!

My Project

Hi, I am 1 of 3 gym teachers here at our school. We serve 800 kids in grades k-8. A majority of them are Somali students and only know soccer. We want them to learn new & healthy activities. Our goal is to teach kids all types of sports in hopes they might find something they love. Or they might find out they were good at something but never had the chance to try it until now.

We would love for our kids to learn new sports including basketball, baseball, volleyball, hockey, football and more!

We think these are important sports and largely popular. They will help our kids work or 1/2 foot jumps, balance, aiming when they pass, hand-eye coordination, agility, motor movement & teamwork!
