My Project

This project is important because we have had a large number of students come into our school from another country. Most of them are Spanish speaking, so, these materials are crucial to creating an inclusive classroom and school environment.

Having an environment that makes students feel like they are represented is crucial to their learning.

I think these Spanish-English dictionaries, books, games, and other materials would help our students adapt to the school and their new environment. Addressing some of their cultural diversity allows them to feel as if they are being seen for who they are and feel that their culture is respected and represented.
