My Project

My school is divided into three houses and each house has three periods of library lunch a week. The library is a very popular place where students can relax and escape the noisy cafeteria. Many students read or complete school work during their lunch period and I often encourage them to take breaks and have some fun.

Students love to play board games during their lunch period and, unfortunately, our game collection is not in the best shape.

We have many board games with missing or tattered pieces. I would love to provide them with fun new games and old classics that have all their pieces. It's a joy to hear them play games. A visitor recently walked by and asked, "Why is everyone laughing?" It's a question I hear a lot when the board games are being used. We are laughing because we are playing games and having fun!

Our students would benefit from new board games because it would help them relax and destress during lunch. Games encourage students to get to know each other in fun ways and strengthen friendships. These games would be used during every lunch period.
