Every Student Deserves a Voice

Help me give my students iPads and protective cases to support communication skills with my nonverbal students!

My Project

My students are eager to learn and have unique communication needs. With your support, these iPads will be used to help my students express their thoughts, ideas, and emotions effectively when verbal communication is limited or absent. These devices will allow my nonverbal students to participate more fully in social interactions and communicate with their peers and teachers.

This investment will empower students to have a voice, which is essential for their overall well-being and quality of life.

With your help, protective cases will ensure safe-guarding the devices from damage and promoting independent communication. These cases will enhance accessibility by providing built-in stands for viewing on their desks and straps to be hands-free during activities such as walking to lunch or moving around the classroom. iPad chargers will also assist in making sure my students are able to access their devices at all times.

I love seeing my students succeed, and these devices will bring them one step closer to achieving their goals toward communication.

For my next project, I’ll be including TouchChat and LAMP Words for Life apps which will be downloaded onto the devices.
