My Project

This year I am fortunate to welcome students needing more support with acquiring the ELA and Math skills. Their uniqueness is demonstrated in the various ways they attain and retain information.

Some students learn through hands-on experiences, like drawing and coloring while others may use games to reinforce letter recognition and sounds.

Some students are auditory, thus providing them with headphones to hear ELA and math stories or ELA and math skills, like skip counting to music, will lead to an outcome of increasing reading levels and grade-level math proficiency. Some students learn by simply providing them seating other than a desk.

With your help, I will be able to teach using these methods so they can successfully meet their grade-level goals. I've learned that if a child can't learn the way I teach, I need to teach the way they learn. Thank you in advance for anything you can offer to ensure my students' success!
