Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the most energetic third graders this year.

My class is composed of ten students with disabilities.

My students have made great strides in the school year. My students are of African-American and Hispanic descent with 99% of them receiving free or reduced-price school meals.

I tell my students, "You can make a difference."

My students are very hard workers, and regardless of their surroundings in their neighborhood, my students come to a class dedicated to working.

They know that once they step in the classroom they are ready to work and learn new content. I love it when I see my students learn and apply what they have learned in the class and use it in their real life.

My students are bright and enthusiastic students ready to learn. My class is located in a low-income area. A large percentage of the student population qualifies for free lunch. My students are not provided with opportunities to experience new things. My students are bright and very dedicated students. My students need real-life experiences in order to make real-life connections.

My Project

I'm so excited to see that Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards are an option now! Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use in my classroom.

Teachers Pay Teachers is a great tool to find different ways to teach students, written and developed by teachers for teachers.

Having classes virtually for special education students may require resources that I may not access to otherwise and Teachers Pay Teachers will help set my students up for success the best way we can in our current situation.

I have used Teachers Pay Teachers as a learning go-to source and find it a valuable tool to be able to reach all the learning styles of students. I'm so excited to see that Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards are an option now! Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use with my students. There are so many resources that I know would be useful for my students during the 2020 and 2021 school year, and this gift card could put them right into my fingertips. Every year I utilize the website Teachers Pay Teachers to find lessons and projects that extend what I am teaching my students.

This year, with blended instruction, I hope to utilize the amazing ideas and creations from the awesome teachers out there on Teachers Pay Teachers, so that the learning can be as fun and engaging as possible for students at home and at school.

Teachers Pay Teachers can not only benefit my students, but also helps teachers around the globe. It's a win/win situation! Teachers helping students and teachers helping teachers!
