Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are strong and resilient young people that live in underserved communities. They are thorough, courageous and passionate students. For many of them our school community of their peers, administrators and teachers are where they find they are safe, loved, and cared for.

My Project

These materials with drastically help my students learn in the classroom and beyond. Most schools have a budget to get essential materials like text books for courses taught at there school. However, elective courses like band and physical education are not served in the manner in which core classes are. I have to pay for curriculum, method books and materials from my own pocket which leaves my students at a severe disadvantage.

Having these material well help students learn in an equitable classroom; a classroom where four sometimes five students are not sharing one book.
