All of my students absolutely love learning about Art, so I do my best to present them with some really cool projects that will keep their interest high! They are so full of positivity energy and work extra hard to create artwork they are extremely proud of. In the end, they are always so amazed at what they have created and are so excited to see their artwork hanging in their school.
My students are full of wonder and love to think out-of-the-box!
Creative problem solving is done best through hands-on experiences on project-based lessons in the Art Room. My students love to collaborate with their classmates and we always focus on kindness in my classroom and the ability to work as a team. Through their love of learning, I can easily make connections across the curriculum by showing them that Science, Literacy, and Math almost always play a role in creating great art. I work with incredible students who look forward to each and every day in the Art Room!
My Project
Pablo Picasso once said..."Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." All children need the opportunity to explore art on their own but often don't have the materials to do so. That's why I'd like to create a free Art corner in my room that is full of all kinds of art materials for students to be able to explore on their own. Students will have access to colored paper, markers, oil pastels as well as glue and scissors. I cannot wait to see what creations they come up with!
Creative thinking has never been more important.
Art is the one subject that still requires creative problem solving and it's really wonderful to see them coming up with their own creations when we have a free art day! I also get to see how they apply what I've taught them in Art class. Children will be thrilled to have the ability and freedom to do what interest them!
