Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school eager to learn and grow as leaders; however, many of them are not having their basic needs met. Many of them come to school hungry and unable to focus due to unmet emotional needs.

Children cannot learn when their basic needs are not being met.

Providing them with healthy snacks when they are hungry and sensory tools to help them work through their emotions will help give my students what they need to be successful. Please help give my students what they need and deserve!
