My Project

Most of us have childhood memories of new folders and crayons in our backpack for the start of a new school year. My high school students are anxious children just like we were!

Help me stock my classroom with markers, notebooks, tape, snacks, and water.

In my teaching career I've never asked for assistance providing snacks but the financial burden has become more than I can bear alone. High school students are proud and often private; while I don't need these supplies for every student, every day, I have always done whatever is necessary to provide supplies for any student who can not bring them. Lint rollers and gum are commonly requested personal care items that can make my students more confident.

Plastic bags, laminating sheets, label-maker refills, staplers, and tape all help keep me organized and making the best use of the supplies available to my students. The fish & reptiles in my classroom are a calming presence and great for engagement but also require supplies like filters and pumps. Clipboards keep us on task but give us the freedom to get out of our seats and move!
