My Students

My district 75 classroom is part of a hospital-based day treatment program that serves adolescents diagnosed with a range of mental health disorders. Our students come in each morning and spend the day in academic classes and therapy, with the goals of managing their mental health and succeeding in school.

Our students are high school-aged and have struggled to attend school.

All students must undergo an extensive psychiatric evaluation to be accepted into the program. Many are able to thrive here, in the small, supportive community the program provides.

My Project

To succeed in school and in our program, it's essential that our students have access to household and hygiene items, comfortable clothes that they can feel good in, and food to start the day. Unfortunately, some of our families are struggling to provide these on a consistent basis. Help us help them out -- you support will go a long way.

We've had success in the past fundraising for essentials for our students, and hope that we can be successful again.

When our students have access to what they need at home, it means that when they're at school, they can focus on what's important -- their treatment and their studies. Thank you so much!
