This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our high school, proudly serve a diverse community of students eager to learn and explore the world around them. As a Title I school, many of our students come from low-income families, which often limits their access to enriching educational experiences. This project aims to provide our students with Science Exploration Kits to ignite their curiosity and foster a love for science.

The Science Exploration Kits and accompanying resources will provide hands-on learning experiences that engage students in active exploration and experimentation, develop critical thinking, and foster teamwork and collaboration among students, helping them to communicate effectively and work together to solve scientific challenges.

The interactive nature of these kits also caters to various learning styles, ensuring that all students—whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners—can thrive in their scientific pursuits.

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus
