This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in basic need of a pencil sharpener. We have already gone through two of them. The laminator would be perfect to laminate charts and resources that can be used the students all year long. We all know how important basic supplies are essential in the classroom, please help out.

My students are 5th graders in a low economic community with a drive to excel.

It hard to believe but simple basic essentials as school tools are hard to come up with in our community. We have no PTO or PTA to help out and its hard to come up with very essential items needed in the classroom.

My Project

My students will use the the pencil sharpener throughout the year. The laminator will be used to laminate essential study resources for the students. We are very limited with the amount of copies in our school. Laminating study resources and charts for student use would limit the amount of copies helping me with scarcity of paper.

My students would be thankful for the electric sharpener and laminator it would make their lives easier.

It doesn't seem like a big deal to some, but believe or not some students don't own a pencil sharpener. Laminated resources would reduce the number of copies since we are limited to one ream of paper per month at our school.
