Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kiddos live in a high poverty area. My school is a Title I school. Every day is a struggle for some, more than others. Giving them the opportunity to do hands-on center rotations lets our tactile learners excel. My incoming Littles are at different learning levels and need as much guidance as possible because they were not able to finish out the school year in class.

Please help my Littles get materials that will help them adjust and continue learning through face to face and online learning.

I want to give my students learning materials due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My students will have to transition from meeting online and working independently this school year to face to face learning.

My Project

I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given what they need to succeed. It is important for Littles to be ready to learn from day one.

Having essential supplies, ready at hand makes life easier for Littles.

From notebooks and pencils for everyday work to zipper bags for organization.

Being able to work without worrying whether you have necessary daily items would be Godsend. Not everyone at my school has funds for the basics. Many times, as a teacher, I find myself buying things for my Littles.
