Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My classroom is not a typical classroom anymore. My students and I have been forced to adapt to a new learning atmosphere where we are not able to be physically together in a room. Instead we are working from our homes to make sure learning is still taking place.

My students crave structure and I am working hard to continue to provide that structured setting for them.

We may not be able to physically meet in Room 14 anymore, but we continue to check on, encourage, and help one another through this troubling time.

My Project

Virtually teaching my students is going to be a learning experience for all of us, but we will get through it! It is still unknown as to if we will be in a physical classroom following a hybrid model or if we will be teaching 100% virtually.

Regardless, my students need to be able to receive the same education virtually as they would if they were in my classroom.

Having the apple pencil will help me when modeling math problems for my students during virtual instruction. I will also be able to use it when grading their work, staying connected with their parents, and providing one-on-one assistance to my students.
