This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our "Essentials For A Bright Future" project, we are seeking support to provide our community students with the specific items they need to elevate their learning experiences. These essential tools will make a profound difference by creating an interactive and engaging classroom environment where students can actively explore, collaborate, and innovate. The requested materials, from kid scissors, pencils, and glue to laminating sheets and printing paper, will provide the basic building blocks to facilitate a creative and hands-on learning environment.

Our school is a flexible space for learning that is universally designed, supports neurodiversity, and is culturally responsive.

Students engage in challenging, real-world explorations that utilize research-backed instructional practices, build critical thinking skills, and foster creativity. As a new school focused on facilitating an inclusive environment, almost half of all of our students have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We are still building our resources from the ground up and your help funding us some of the most necessary resources will go a long way.
