Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is an active place where hands-on tools are essential for engaging young learners.

I'm requesting a thermal laminator, dry erase markers, mini paper punches, Magna-Tiles, golf pencils, and Goldfish crackers to support our daily activities and help each student thrive.

The laminator will allow us to create durable resources, like flashcards and reusable activity boards, while dry erase markers and mini punches will give students creative, interactive options to build fine motor skills through writing and art.

Magna-Tiles will introduce students to geometry and spatial awareness in a fun, hands-on way, helping them understand concepts like symmetry and balance through play. These magnetic tiles allow students to build structures and patterns, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills as they explore foundational math and science ideas. Golf pencils, sized just right for young hands, will support students in writing and drawing activities that strengthen fine motor control. Goldfish crackers will provide quick, healthy snacks to keep students’ energy up, showing them they are cared for and supported in small, meaningful ways. Each of these materials plays a unique role in making our classroom a welcoming, engaging space where students can focus on their learning and feel confident exploring new skills.
