Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is a Title 1 public school which services grades PreK-5. I teach in an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) Kindergarten classroom. Many of our students are also English Language learners. All my students are so eager to learn but often lack essential materials to support their learning.

This project would provide all my students with essential supplies such as folders, markers, and tape that are needed throughout the school year.

We often use dry erase markers in small group instruction and during math instruction. In addition, students need folders to help organize their work and for take home materials and homework.

I would appreciate any assistance with getting this project funded because all of the supplies I requested are essential for running my classroom effectively and smoothly. It can be very overwhelming trying to provide all the supplies needed because many materials get damaged from year to year. Please help me provide these essential materials for my kindergarten class and have a successful school year!
