My Project

As a teacher dedicated to hands-on learning and fostering an appreciation for sustainable agriculture, I am excited to bring hydroponic gardening into my classroom. To make this possible, I am seeking support for a Hydroponic Supplies Box that contains all the essential items needed to ensure successful growing results in our Flex Farm.

The Hydroponic Supplies Box will provide everything we need for approximately three months of hydroponic growing, allowing students to engage in a real-world science project and learn about plant growth, sustainability, and the science behind hydroponics.

This kit includes Fork Farms-approved hydroponic nutrient blends and a pH adjuster, as well as carefully selected and hand-packaged seeds to ensure the highest quality and germination rates.

What's included in the Hydroponic Supplies Box:

Genovese Basil Seeds – 400 seeds per packet

Green Star Lettuce Pelleted Seeds – 200 seeds per packet

Romaine Pelleted Seeds – 200 seeds per packet

3 Rockwool Flats – Ideal for seed germination and plant support

8 oz. Nutrient A – Essential for plant growth

8 oz. Nutrient B – Complementary nutrient blend for balanced growth

8 oz. pH Down – To ensure the optimal pH levels for hydroponic growth

Nursery Tray – To provide the ideal environment for seedlings to thrive

This kit will empower students to explore the fascinating world of hydroponic gardening, offering them a hands-on way to develop critical thinking skills, understand scientific concepts, and learn about sustainable food production. With your support, we can create an engaging learning experience that combines science, math, and environmental awareness.
