Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I’m requesting, such as Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, and paper towels, will ensure that our classroom remains a clean and healthy environment, minimizing the spread of germs and reducing student absences. With a well-sanitized space, students can focus on learning rather than distractions from illness. Organizational tools like packing tape will help us create visually engaging displays that reinforce key concepts. At the same time, small rewards like chocolate candy and popcorn will motivate students, encouraging positive behavior and active participation in lessons. Flair pens will be used in creative activities, adding a colorful, engaging touch to their work, and sparking joy in learning.

This project aims to create a healthy, organized, and rewarding environment that fosters learning and creativity.

By providing these essential supplies, I aim to reduce disruptions, increase engagement, and motivate students to stay focused and invested in their education. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn every day.

My students are incredibly special because they come from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds, and many face unique learning challenges such as ADD, ADHD, Autism, and speech delays. Despite these obstacles, they demonstrate resilience, curiosity, and a deep desire to learn. They thrive on structure, positive reinforcement, and hands-on learning experiences. They are eager to grow not only academically but also emotionally, and I’m dedicated to helping them succeed by creating a classroom environment that nurtures their individual needs and potential.
