My Project

This year I will be welcoming 30 new second grade students. More than 30% of the students are English Language Learners and about 20% are students with special needs. Dry erase boards and markers encourage interactive learning. allowing students to bainstorm ideas visually and share their thinking with a partner, in a small group or with the entire class. They also give students an opportunity to share their voice without having to feel embarassed or raise their hand! Notebooks and folders are also essential for students learning. Having a dedicated notebook and folder for each subject will help them stay organized.
