Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hardworking, curious, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and face many challenges, yet they show up every day eager to learn. Our school is a dual-language elementary school near the Texas-Mexico border, where 98% of students are considered at-risk. Despite these challenges, they are determined to succeed, and I want to provide them with the tools they need to thrive.

My goal is to create a nurturing and well-equipped learning space where my students feel supported.

The items I am requesting—binders, erasers, cleaning supplies, a pencil sharpener, and chips—will make a significant impact on their learning. Binders will help my students stay organized, keeping their notes and assignments in one place. Erasers and a quality pencil sharpener will ensure they can continue practicing their writing and problem-solving without interruption. Cleaning supplies will help maintain a safe and healthy environment, reducing distractions caused by clutter or mess. Lastly, snacks like chips will provide a small but meaningful incentive, keeping them motivated and focused.

With your help, I can ensure they have the basic supplies needed to succeed in their education. Thank you for investing in their future!
