Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students’ curiosity, resilience, and unique perspectives. The essential supplies and fidgets I’m requesting will create a supportive, engaging learning environment. These tools will help my special education students stay focused, regulate emotions, and actively participate in lessons.

Students will use fidgets to manage sensory needs during instruction, allowing them to remain engaged in learning activities.

Essential supplies, a rolling cart, erasers and poster board, will support hands-on projects, literacy activities, and math lessons, ensuring they have the tools necessary for success. My goal is to provide a structured, inclusive space where every student can thrive despite district budget cuts.

What makes my students special is their determination to learn, their creativity, and their ability to overcome challenges with the right support. With these resources, I can implement structured learning stations, guided reading groups, and interactive math activities that promote independence and confidence. These materials will help my students succeed academically and socially, fostering growth in both their learning and self-regulation skills.
