My Students

I have a dynamic group of students who have a love of learning. My students represent a diverse population who don't have the opportunity to buy books for themselves. Many live below poverty level, but that doesn't get in their way of being successful students!

My students have a strong desire to read, and need high-interest books to support their reading goals.

This year we are focusing on classic essential literature. Your generosity will kick our reading into high gear, and change lives. Thank you for your help!

My Project

This is an opportunity to provide students with the ability to gain a better understanding of history and culture in context.

My 8th grade students crave a challenge and have been asking for classic literature to really push their thinking skills, and help tackle high level texts.

Middle school is a critical age. I am proud to say that we are working together to foster a love of reading. Moreover, a love of reading timeless texts.

By providing them with these essential texts you will be giving them something of value. These classics and their themes have stood the test of time. These are books in which we still find characters, experiences, emotions, and perspectives relevant today.
