My Project

This project addresses organizational and emotional needs for my students. I would so appreciate your support in helping me fill in these gaps!

I love giving my students opportunities to practice responibility, exercise independence, and develop organizational skills.

Flexible seating allows them to access a preferred learning space to comfortably practice skills both independently and in a small group. It also helps them create a quiet place to decompress, find calm, or regulate their emotions.

Shapes will help us keep our learning groups organized by color and shape, and our behavior chart will allow students to self-monitor throughout the day. Additionally, my students were just granted new safe and sturdy chairs for our classroom— but their Seat Sacks no longer fit! I want to offer them continuity in developing independence, responsibility, and access to materials by replacing their Seat Sacks with a larger size.
