Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A classroom makeover with a new horseshoe table, a swivel chair, and student resources like materials for our ESS student store, geared to teaching basic financial literacy, snacks, and games will provide a transformative space that fosters a more engaging and supportive learning environment. The horseshoe table will allow for better collaboration and open discussion, creating opportunities for group work and one-on-one interactions between students and the teacher. Access to additional learning materials will support diverse learning styles, allowing each student to find the resources that work best for them.

Snacks and games will provide crucial breaks, giving students the energy they need to stay engaged while also promoting social skills and teamwork.

This makeover will not only enhance the physical space, but it will also help create a positive classroom culture where students feel valued, engaged, and supported in their learning journey.
