My Project

As part of my initiative to increase participation in computer science, I'm setting up a gaming/eSports club for the students at my high school. This year, it will be an informal club, since we won't be able to participate with official competitions. My goal is to leverage student interest in gaming (including console, pc, and casual) to introduce and explore computer science concepts such as networking, user interface/experience, and programming logic.

These consoles and computers will enable our club to participate in gaming experiences that illustrate computer science concepts, and give them an opportunity to create new approaches to gaming, including the business aspects.

Students will be guided through virtual teardowns of consoles and PCs, and will set up and compete in intra-school competitions.
