This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator of over 35yrs, I always try to give my students the tools they will need to learn. I have several students that speak little to no English. These students are from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, and Spanish speaking countries. Their inability to communicate with the rest of their classmates creates a frustration, that these ipads and the sensory items will help with their learning process. I will be able to download English activities to help them with the learning process and make it easier for my students. By helping them in their language first will show them we're here to help them not frustrate them. Letting my students know that it's okay to make mistakes when speaking a language they not familiar with. We're here to help them in any way we can.
