Help Mrs. W.

I teach 40 ESL students from approximately 15 different countries. The students are in Kindergarten through fifth grades. We are not a title 1 school.

My students are extremely interested in learning about the ocean. At every free opportunity, they delve into the ocean books I have in the classroom.

There are not enough books about the ocean to go around! The goal of this proposal is to put books about the ocean ecosystem into the hands of all my students. The types of books requested are those not typically found in our school library, and many of the requested books are mutli-sensory in nature.

Your kindness will make it possible for me to transform my classroom into an ocean biome! At the end of each school year, our school puts on a technology/curriculum fair. The books you provide will help add the academic focus needed for a complete scientific oceanic transformation.
