Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m incredibly proud of my students and their determination to learn Spanish. Each day, they come to class with curiosity and a willingness to try, even when things get challenging. They are a diverse group of hardworking and resilient young people, and they inspire me with their enthusiasm for learning a new language. Many of my students are preparing for the Spanish Regents exam, an important milestone that requires strong listening and speaking skills.

To help them succeed, I’m requesting headphones for my classroom.

These will be a game-changer! Headphones will allow students to focus deeply on listening comprehension, practice pronunciation, and engage with authentic Spanish audio resources without distractions. For some, this might be the first time they truly hear themselves mastering a new language. This resource will not only help them prepare for the exam but also build the confidence and skills they’ll carry with them for years to come.

My goal is to create an engaging, supportive environment where my students feel empowered to grow and thrive. They are a special group who face challenges with determination, and I want to ensure they have everything they need to succeed. Your support will make a direct and meaningful impact on their learning journey.
