This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our Technology Enrichment Club is looking for new, innovative ideas during our weekly gatherings. Our students are in need of hands-on activities to engage them in learning. Escape room activities are very popular with both students and teachers. These fun activities can be incorporated into lessons to help teach specific content.
Our Technology Enrichment Club would love escape rooms as students will be actively engaged and having fun with their learning.
They will have a much greater chance of retaining the content that was taught. There is a plethora of engaging, up-to-date activities and resources on Teachers Pay Teachers that I can purchase with the gift cards I am asking for, such as content-based escape room activities, that I can use to create fun lessons for students to use with our Tech Enrichment Club. These escape room activities will encourage students to problem solve cooperatively and will help develop their critical thinking skills, which is something that will benefit them for a lifetime.
