Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

More than 95% of our scholars are Black and Hispanic. Because our school community is underserved* our scholars aren't afforded the same opportunities that other public school students nearby currently enjoy: we must address this disparity and teach them to CODE.

The LEGO Spike Essential Kits, peripherals, detailed lessons & training, will enable me to use literacy and the LEGO STEAM coding kits and characters to create an immersive coding experience.

My project will give students the opportunity to join an after-school club where they will learn the skills necessary to be critical thinkers.
