Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a group of fun-loving, caring and hard-working scholars. Many of them come from different socio-economic backgrounds and therefore, have access to different types of resources outside of school.

When they are in my class, however, I pride myself in ensuring there is equity to all when it comes to resources and learning experiences.

At the moment, our class only has fourteen square cushions students use when reading independently at our carpet. I've created an equitable weekly schedule for students, but they are unable to have their own reading cushion on a daily basis.

Please help me give my students the gift of equity of resources in our classroom, where every single student has what they need in order to become successful scholars.
