This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Low readers and newcomer students are always in need of materials that will help support their learning. Our school has no access to paper and even working printers due to budget. If we had a printer we could have access to so much more to help students get access to any materials that will support their learning. Many times we need simple things like sentence starters or graphic organizers on paper since many students struggle to copy in their own language. Many students cannot improve their reading and writing skills since online programs don’t require handwriting.
