My Students

We are a fully remote diverse classroom with English language learners, special education students, and general education students! I have 25 bundles of joy I am blessed to have in my class. Their love of learning is evident when they join my class every day.

My Project

Our school community is dedicated to educating our scholars around the topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion. It is clear that our commitment to prioritize social and emotional learning in our everyday practices has been beneficial and necessary for our students' growth and well-being. We are starting our Equity book of the month to include meaningful work around equity and inclusion.

Guided by intention and impact, this year we aim to integrate more inclusive literature in our classrooms across all grade levels.

This first book of the month was chosen to start conversations of respect, empathy, and diverse human experience in our classroom.
