Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The technology items requested, such as headphones, chargers, and charging station, will enhance the learning experience in our STEM room. Headphones will allow students to engage with interactive learning programs and online resources. Many of our upcoming projects will require students to use Chromebooks or iPads and it will involve research, listening to stories, and possibly watching videos to learn content. The headphones would foster a more focused and personalized learning environment and ensure students are completing their work. Chargers will ensure that devices remain powered throughout the day, and the charging station will be helpful when chromebooks or ipads are suddenly running low on power.

My primary goal is to provide students with the technological tools they need to actively participate in STEM activities and foster a love for learning.

We need these tools to support different learning styles. Some students learn best by watching demonstrations, others learn by reading, and some need quiet and focus to complete their work. These technologies will do that just for the kids. Above all, it supports the work of the STEM classroom. An essential part of STEM is the use of technology to drive student learning and outcomes.

My students are curious, hardworking, creative and ambitious! They also LOVE using technology. By providing the kids with these tools they will be able to complete exciting upcoming projects such as stop motion animation, creating digital artwork, and researching and so much more!
