Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a dedicated 6th grade special education teacher, I aim to ensure my students have the tools they need to succeed in mathematical processing, I aim to secure basic supplies that support their learning. Items such as division/multiplication dry-erase boards with markers and ink for my colored printer to create visuals and manipulatives like fraction tiles or base-ten blocks can make a significant difference in helping students grasp mathematical concepts and work through problems effectively.

Having access to these resources will enable students to engage in hands-on learning, visualize abstract ideas, and build confidence in their problem-solving abilities.

Additionally, I plan to create a system to share these tools equitably, ensuring every student can benefit, regardless of their circumstances.
